Shipping Policy
Getting your order to you
Everything below is what actually happens after you place an order, including the parts most stores leave out. We would rather set an expectation we can meet than one that sounds better.
1. Where we ship
We deliver within the United States only — all 50 states. Get in touch before ordering if you are in a US territory or using an APO/FPO address and we will confirm whether we can reach you.
We do not currently ship internationally. If an order is placed to an address outside the United States it will be cancelled and refunded in full — no restocking fee, no argument. We would rather say this plainly than take your money and disappoint you three weeks later.
2. When your order leaves us
Orders are dispatched within 7 business days of purchase, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Most leave sooner. We quote the longer figure because beating an honest estimate is better than missing an optimistic one.
Every order ships with tracking. Your tracking number arrives by email the moment the parcel is handed to the carrier. If seven business days pass with no dispatch email, write to us and we will find out why.
3. How long delivery takes
Transit time starts when the carrier collects the parcel, not when you place the order. Add the two together for a realistic arrival window.
Typical transit within the United States is 7 to 15 business days after dispatch. So from order to doorstep, plan on roughly two to four weeks.
That window reflects what we actually see, not best-case carrier marketing. It remains an estimate. We do not guarantee arrival by any particular calendar date, and we cannot promise delivery in time for a birthday, a holiday or an event.
4. Where your parcels come from
We work with overseas manufacturing and fulfilment partners, so most items travel directly from them to your address in the US. That is why delivery takes longer than a domestic warehouse would, and most of the reason our prices are what they are.
We would rather you knew this at checkout than worked it out from the tracking page. Any import duties on the way into the country are handled by us, not passed on to you — the price you pay at checkout is the price you pay.
5. Orders with several items
Order more than one thing and the items may travel separately, each with its own tracking number, arriving days apart. This is normal. Nothing has been forgotten and nothing has gone wrong.
6. Shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address and order size, and shown to you before you pay. We add nothing afterwards.
7. Delays outside our control
Once a parcel is with the carrier its progress is out of our hands. Customs inspections on the way into the country, weather, strikes and seasonal backlogs all add time, and none of them are things we can influence.
Where a delay is the carrier's and your order does eventually arrive, we cannot refund on the basis that it took longer than you hoped.
Where a delay is ours, that is different. If we fail to dispatch within the seven business days we promised, you may cancel for a full refund. That is our commitment, not a favour.
8. Busy periods
Around Christmas and other peak retail seasons, carriers slow down noticeably. If your order is for a specific date, place it several weeks earlier than these estimates suggest.
We would rather tell you that plainly than take an order we suspect will disappoint.
9. Out of stock items
If something sells out between your order and our dispatch, we will contact you with the choice of waiting, swapping it, or cancelling that item for a refund. We will not hold your order indefinitely without telling you.
10. Getting your address right
Check your delivery address before confirming. Mistakes happen, and we can usually correct them if you email within 24 hours and the parcel has not yet left.
After dispatch the address is fixed. If a parcel is undeliverable because the address was wrong and comes back to us, we can send it out again once you cover the reshipping cost.
11. Tracking that has stopped moving
Tracking often sits still for several days, particularly while a parcel is in transit or clearing customs on the way into the country. That is normal and does not mean it is lost.
If nothing changes for 10 business days, contact us and we will chase the carrier on your behalf.
12. Damaged, missing or lost parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph the packaging before opening it where you can, and email us within 48 hours.
If tracking says delivered but nothing is there, check with neighbours and any shared mail area first, then tell us within 7 days so we can open a carrier claim while the evidence still exists.
If a parcel is genuinely lost in transit, we replace it or refund you in full. Getting it to you is our job — a parcel that never arrives is our problem to solve, not yours to absorb.
13. Returns
Returns are covered separately in our Refund Policy.
